A Liverpool fan who called two Muslims praying during the Reds’ FA Cup quarter-final clash against Blackburn Rovers ‘a disgrace’ has been slammed by fellow supporters.
A picture posted by Stephen Dodd on Twitter showed two men performing afternoon prayers during half-time.
He wrote ‘Muslims praying at half time at the match yesterday’ @stedoddnew. The message has since been deleted.
He then faced a backlash from other fans.
@stedoddnew the only thing disgraceful about that is your ignorant views. Emre Can is a Muslim, would he find them praying a disgrace?
