‘1m UK Muslims could be radicalised’
New figures reveal that 38 per cent of Muslims in the UK are radicalised.
The survey conducted by an anti-extremism think tank states that a growing number of Muslims now think it is okay to ‘pray five times a day and grow a beard and wear a hijab’.
This alarming figure means of the 2.7m Muslims in the UK over 1 million could be radicalised.
An extremism expert told us, “It is shocking to know that 1 million Muslims in the UK could be radicalised. in this way What the government needs now is further legislation aimed at stemming the tide of radicalisation sweeping across the country.”
Two per cent of the 250 people questioned were said to want to grow a beard and wear a headscarf the same time.
