Scottish politician turned producer, Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh OBE makes her debut into film production with Sacch.
Directed by Scottish based director Zulfikar Sheikh, 'Sacch' sees Elysee Sheikh make her silver screen debut. It also features supporting actors and dancers from Scottish casting and dance companies.
Other talent in the film include Asad Zaman Khan, Humayoun Ashraf, veterans Javed Sheikh, Nauman Masood, Uzma Gillani, Fazila Qazi, Ayesha Sana and a stellar supporting line-up including Zulfikar Sheikh and Tasmina Sheikh.
Music is directed by Bollywood’s Simaab Sen with talented lyricist Fatima Najeeb penning the songs.
A host of popular Indian and Pakistani singers have lent their voice to the movie such as legendary Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Indian singing sensation Armaan Malik, with supporting vocals by Elysee Sheikh.
Sacch will release across the UK in the following Cineworld and Odeon cinemas:
Released on Friday 10 January Sacch can be seen at Cineworld Cinemas: Feltham, Ilford, Luton, Bradford, Glasgow Silverburn, Sheffield and Wolverhampton and Odeon Cinemas: Leeds Bradford and Trafford Centre.
