Acclaimed composer, producer, and performer Kuljit Bhamra is set to release his new album, 'Namaste Bombay'.
This project, which was recorded during the Covid Pandemic is a heartfelt tribute to the music that laid the foundation for the global phenomenon of Bollywood.
Namaste Bombay is said to capture the 'raw, engaging energy of live performances'. It features an impressive array of British talent across its 38 tracks.
The album's first single, 'Dur Dur Hum Jayenge', narrates the story of a woman embarking on a journey to distant lands, carrying only the cherished memory of her beloved. This track, is performed by Rekha and written by Bhamra and Gajjar.
Rama O Rama, the album's focus track, is a duet by Rekha and Parry Mad.
The album is out on June 28 and available at music stores.
