An unlikely racehorse bred by small-town bartender Jan Vokes becomes a beacon of hope for a struggling community.
The film is the true stroy of Dream Alliance, the unlikely racehorse who goes on to race and ultimately win the Welsh Grand National after a significant number of trials and tribulations.
Jan Vokes, a woman going through her everyday repetitious routine of working at a grocery store and pub decides to invest in a horse with the help of her neighbours, convincing them to chip in their meagre earnings to help raise Dream. Their investments pay off, however it takes a lot to get there.
Dream Horse is directed by BAFTA-nominated film and television director, Euros Lyn (Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Sherlock and Daredevil), it stars Toni Collette, Damian Lewis, Owen Teale and Joanna Page.
