One of the most expensive films ever made in Pakistan has a release date.
The Legend of Maula Jatt will hit the cinemas on 13 October. The film is described as an 'intense and epic hero origin story' and said to be a hard reboot of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt.
It stars Fawad Khan in the role of the legendary Maula Jatt and Hamza Ali Abbasi as his arch nemesis, Noori Natt. The supporting cast includes Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Shafqat Cheema and Nayyer Ejaz.
The film is directed by Bilal Lashari, known for his directorial debut, 'Waar' and produced by Ammara Hikmat with screenplay by Bilal Lashari and dialogues by Nasir Adeeb.
The filmmakers have partnered with Geo Films as their presenting partner.
