MARY SMITHSON Jimmy, Jamie, Sean, Sonia and family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to family, friends, colleagues and all concerned for the many cards, letters, flowers and condolences received following the sudden loss of our precious Mary, they helped us so much at this devastating time. We are also overwhelmed by the kindness shown in donations totalling £1100 to Pendleside Hospice and £950 to Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you to everyone who attended Mary’s Requiem Mass and to Fr John Daly for his support to the family and beautiful service. Special thanks are extended to the staff at Royal Blackburn Hospital, the District, Macmillan and Marie Curie Nurses for their exceptional holistic care and compassion. Finally sincere thanks to Peter, Sonia and Allan at Hyndburn Funeral Services alongside Sue and all staff at the Peel Park Hotel for their help and thoughtful arrangements.
