STUART MICHAEL METCALFE (Former Professional Football Player for Blackburn Rovers 1969-1979) Peacefully passed away with his loving daughters at his side on Thursday 6th August 2020 at Royal Blackburn Hospital Stuart aged 69 years. Loving and caring father of Alana and Lauren, fondly remembered by Robert and Josh, a devoted and loving grandad of Lucas and Alicia, a dearly loved brother of Pauline, a much loved friend of Lynn, Stuart will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. During the current circumstances, a private family service and cremation will be held on Wednesday 19th August 2020 at Pleasington at 2.15pm. Family flowers only, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Stuart to Alzheimer's Society or Prostate Cancer, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq. A sad loss, 'Flecky' and I shared a desk at St. Peter's (Mill Hill) He won the Charity Shield for us in the early 60's. Great footballer even then.
