DAVID HELMN On Monday August 31st 2020 in hospital after a short illness, David aged 55 years. The dearly loved husband of Karen, much loved dad of Alexandra and David, loving son of the late Norma Helmn, dear brother of Jennifer and uncle of Georgia, Elise, Arwyn, Marika, Isabel, Chloe and Jack. A funeral service will take place at St. Cuthberts Church, Darwen on Friday September 18th at 11.00am followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium at 12.15pm. Due to current restrictions numbers are limited to family and close friends, however there will be a live stream of the service. ( Please contact the Funeral Director for more information ). People are also welcome to pay their respects by standing outside the church. Flowers will be accepted or if preferred donations in memory of David may be made to St. James University Hospital, Leeds c/o Darwen Funeral Service, 59-61, Blackburn Road, Darwen.
