KATHLEEN (KATH) PATRICIA O'MALLEY On 23rd September 2020 peacefully at her home, surrounded by her children and fortified by the Rites of the Holy Mother Church, Kath, aged 71 years, of Dinckley Square, Blackburn. The dearly loved Mum of James, Daniel and Charlotte; and beloved Mother-in-Law to Beth, Kasia and James; adored Nana of James, Charlie, Jack, Finley and Isabella. Devoted sister of Jean and George, the late Reece and Irene, sister-in-law to Doreen, Jean, Joan and the late Neville and cherished Aunty to all of their children. Friend, confidante, teacher and mentor to many. She will always be missed, but the happy memories of her will bring comfort to those who had the privilege of knowing Kath. At rest in the Grimshaw Park Funeral Home. Due to current restrictions, a private family Requiem Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Blackburn on Friday 9th October at 12.45pm prior to cremation at Pleasington. The service will be live streamed for all those who cannot attend. Please contact Waring McKenna for details of how to access the live stream. Kath was a wonderful woman. She did a lot to support the teachers and children in Blackburn with Darwen , she left her mark..... God bless her and all her family ****
