LILLIAN MOONEY On Wednesday 28th October, 2020 peacefully at Magdalene House Residential Care Home, LILLIAN, aged 87 years. The dearly loved wife of NORMAN (deceased 2008) and loving mother of LINDA, DAVID, PHILIP and BERNARD, devoted mother in law of DAVE, MARY, JACQUI and RACHEL. Adored grandmother of eight and great grandmother of seven. Beloved sister of GEORGE and KENNETH, sister in law of FRANCES and TERESA, a much loved auntie and treasured friend to many. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest at Talbot Funeral Service, Blackburn. Requiem Mass will take place at Sacred Heart RC Church, Preston New Road, Blackburn at 12.30pm on Friday 13th November, 2020 prior to interment at St Mary's RC Churchyard, Osbaldeston. So sad to hear this news. Sincere condolences to the whole family. What a lovely lady your mother was! She was a big part of my life growing up as your friend, Linda. I remember the lovely teas she used to make for us- Edam cheese and tomato sandwiches and jelly afterwards, usually. And I loved her Japanese flower arrangements too! I will always remember her, and your dad. May they both rest in peace. Together at last. Christine ( Billington) x
