DAISY SOWMAN Passed away peacefully in her sleep on 23rd January 2021 aged 95 years at Malvern View Care Home, Cheltenham. Much loved wife of the late Stanley. Loving Mother of Jacqueline and Mother-in-Law of Alan. Due to current restrictions a private funeral will be held in Winchcombe. Donations in lieu of flowers for: 'Winchcombe Medical Centre' May be sent to: Alexander Burn Funeral Directors, 11 North Street, Winchcombe, Cheltenham, Glos GL54 5LH. Tel 01242 604888.

I’m very sorry to read about Daisy’s death. She put my husband David Rigg and I up at the B&B in 1983 or 1984. A very special memory, especially Stan waiting on us at dinner in formal attire. Daisy was my father-in-law’s cousin and Fay, my mother-in-law often talked about the fun they had together when they visited from Australia. I will pass on the news to Fay. Daisy seemed a kind and friendly person. Best wishes to her family. She was very proud of you all as I recall.
