MICHAEL HOGAN March 10th 1946 March 5th 2021 Michael Hogan, aged 74 years passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday March 5th 2021. He leaves behind his devoted wife Carolyn and much-loved daughter Debra, who were both by his side and holding his hands as he passed. Michael was a loving husband and Dad and also an amazing Grandad to Lucy and Hollie, as-well as Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Michael was born at Brownhill in Blackburn, the son of Austin and Elizabeth and brother of Valerie, then lived in Mellor and more recently Whalley. He enjoyed being with family, supporting them with strength and energy, working very hard as a joiner before teaching at Blackburn, Accrington and Bolton Colleges until his retirement. He will be very much missed by all his family and by those who knew him. A funeral will be held shortly at Holy Souls RC Church Brownhill followed by interment at Pleasington, but due to current circumstances will be by invitation only.
