DOROTHY ABBOTT Peacefully on Saturday 24th April 2021, at Queens Lodge Nursing Home, Blackburn, Dorothy aged 101 years. The devoted and much loved wife of the late Gerry, dearly loved mum of Kathleen, a cherished auntie, and sister of the late Harry and Marian. Dorothy had a wonderful life and will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. Due to the restrictions of the Government, a funeral service for immediate family and invited friends will be held at St Oswald's Church, Knuzden, on Wednesday 12th May at 2pm followed by interment at St Mary's Churchyard, Osbaldeston. Flowers are welcome, or if desired, donations may be made in memory of Dorothy to Cancer Research UK, 23 Parsonage Road, Blackburn, BB1 9PG.
