GEORGE GUTWEIN On Thursday 13th May 2021, George died peacefully in his sleep at 2.30 in the morning, with his family by his side, aged 96 years. Originally from Jankovci in Croatia, George lived in Germany before settling in the UK, most recently of Little Harwood, Blackburn. He was a former fish and chip shop proprietor, master cook and baker and was renowned for his hospitality and catering. Beloved husband of Gertrude, a much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews, and a good friend to many. At rest in the Grimshaw Park Funeral Home. The cortege will leave from George's home address on Wednesday 26th May for a 1.30pm service in Pleasington Cemetery Chapel followed by interment.
