NICK JAMES PARKER Aged 49, passed away on Wednesday 30th June, after a short illness. A sorrow too deep for words. Loving son of Jim and Anne Parker, ex-marine and fitness instructor. Funeral, Pleasington Crematorium, Friday 9th July, 3.45pm. Enquiries: Co-op Funeralcare, Darwen. Tel: 01254 701145.

Unbearably sad news, childhood summers spent in Sunnyhurst with Nicky were the best of times, genuine, fun and a good person. James and now Nicky, simply heartbreaking and far far too young.

Very sorry to hear of Nicks passing, I went to primary and secondary school with Nick though moved away 20+ years ago. No words really, as I am sure everyone will be saying, he was a top man. My thoughts and condolences are with his family. Dale
