CHARLOTTE LEE (Nee Higgins) Aged 84, born in Glasgow January 24th 1937, lived at Knightswood Cross Glasgow. Previously lived on Ayr Road, Shadsworth and Whitehead Street, Blackburn. Charlotte, a retired auxiliary nurse at Blackburn Royal Hospital, died after a long brave fight with kidney (renal) failure on August 17th 2021, while residing at her daughter Louise's house in Blackburn, Lancashire. Widow of James Lee (1938-1991) (married July 13th 1957). Partner and friend to Jim Grubb for many years (deceased). Beloved mother, to Lorraine, Louise, Lavelle, Lynnette and Steven. Grandma of 21, Great Grandma to many and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Sister to Mary and Jackie. Mother in law to Simon, Stephen, Thomas and Cath. Auntie and good Friend to many. Funeral service to be held Monday September 6th at 10.00 at St Peters Church, Jessel Street, Mill Hill. Family flowers preferred, donations to support the Hospice staff at Park Lee Hospital would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Hospice Nurses, NHS District Nurses and other care teams who supported Charlotte and her family to provide home care.
