Dad spent his last six months in the care of his sons and daughters in law Sally, Janette and AnneMarie with help from niece Rita and friends Kathleen and Maureen. Without their love and support his wish to remain in his own home could not have been fulfilled. With his team behind him and his own determination, his six week prognosis was extended into six months enabling him to enjoy a full summer of companionship from all those close to him. Dad made it clear just how much he appreciated everyone around him but for all of us, it's been a privilege.
Thanks also for the exceptional support provided by the Routes team, District Nurses and Hospice at Home.
