SPENCER Gordon It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Spencer announces his passing on 14th November 2023 at the age of 83. Gordon passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Janet, his daughter Lorraine and grandson Ethan. Gordon started work as a draughtsman and moved on to end his career as a sales manager in engineering. After he retired he spent much of his time in France or at home with his model railway. His family would like to recognise the care he received in his final hours in the critical care ward where they preserved his comfort and dignity until the end. His service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Monday 4th December at 11am, followed by refreshments at Mill House, Clayton-le-Moors. All are welcome.
