AINSWORTH Dorothy On 28th December 2023, peacefully at home in Rossendale Dorothy, formerly of Darwen, aged 89 years. Much loved wife of the late Joseph, mother to Susan, grandma to Lisa and Jayne, and great grandma to Isaac, Betsy, Mabel and Mollie. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Her Requiem Mass will take place at St James the Less RC Church, Burnley Rd, Rawtenstall BB4 8HH at 11am on Wednesday 10th January, prior to interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Dorothy can be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind, C/O Knight and Boys Funeral Service, 300 Newchurch Rd, Stacksteads Rossendale OL13 OUJ.
