On Sunday 10th November 2024, suddenly at home, with his family and dogs, Dunk aged 62 years, of Blackburn. Beloved husband of Janet, much loved dad of Cullen, loving brother of Iain, Fiona and Colleen and best friend of Gary Gorman.

Dunk will be sadly missed by his dogs Titch, Emma and Bob, and his cats Mimi, Dee Dee and Fluff Bum and all the Ewood crew.

At rest in the Grimshaw Park funeral home. An 11.15 a.m. service and committal will take place on Friday 29th November at Pleasington Crematorium. There is no dress code but the brighter the better. Family flowers only please, donations may be made in memory of Dunk to The British Heart Foundation c/o Waring McKenna Funeralcare, 45 Grimshaw Park, Blackburn, BB2 3AG. Very saddened to read about Duncan's passing. Such a wonderful and lovely man who always had a treat for my dog and time for a chat with me as we walked on the back path.
My thoughts are with his family and his lovely dogs and cats. He will be very much missed.

Duncan meant the world to everyone. He had such a big heart & always stood by you no matter what. I was there at the family home the day he passed away, it hit the household very hard. Life will not be the same without him around. Miss our chats & your infectious laugh. Thankyou for being a wonderful father in-law! You will always hold a special place in our hearts!
