The winners of the British Indian Awards presented by accountancy and business advisory firm, BDO LLP, were announced last night in Birmingham.

The evening honoured the success and achievements of Britain’s Indian individuals, groups and business people.

The night was one of recognition and celebration, which highlighted the significant role Indian’s play in contributing to a better Great Britain.

There were eighteen awards presented on the night, the winners are:

"Over 400 people attended the glamorous event, including hosts, Sunny and Shay, from the Bafta nominated Channel 4’s ‘The Family’, who now present their own show for BBC London 94.9fm. The entertainment of the evening was provided by the talented Desi Nach.
