Inspiration, Creativity and excellence in the wedding industry was recognised at the Asian Wedding Experience Awards.

The event sponsored by 100 Bollywood Years and in association with the Asian Wedding Experience Show was held at Renaissance Manchester City Centre Hotel.

The awards ceremony was presented by Neetal Parekh and celebrated the hard work, tireless devotion, the creativity and inspiration of the 1000’s of the Asian wedding industries finest suppliers, businesses and individuals across the North West and West Yorkshire.

• Asian Caterer of the Year – Nawaab (Manchester).

• Asian wedding Venue of the Year - Sheridain Suite.

• Asian Fashion Designer of the Year (Bridal Wear) - Ze Faith Couture.

• Asian Fashion Designer of the Year (Groom Wear) - Alankar.

• Asian Wedding Planner of the Year – Zinc Occasions.

• Asian Wedding Film Maker of the year – SM Digital.

• Asian Wedding Photographer of the year – Suhaag Photography.

• Award for Outstanding Contribution to The Asian Wedding Sector – Mohammed Yasin Ali Khan AKA DJ Fritz.

“It was a difficult process”, says Monir Ali, Chairman of the Judging Panel, “and the right people won the awards. But all the judges felt that if we could give an award to all the nominees we would have, as the calibre of nominations was very high. Juel Khan, Managing Director of Simplicity Events and member of the Judging Panel adds: “What impressed us the most was the level and quality of service to their clients”.

The Asian Wedding Experience Awards, the first of its kind in the UK is a series of regional awards, of which the North West was the first with the focus now on the Midlands awards in September followed by London and the South East in 2014.

Nominations for the Midlands Asian Wedding Experience Awards 2014 will be open from 1 July 2013.
