Members of a Muslim charity have been on the streets of Manchester distributing rucksacks tothose sleeping rough.
Members of Muslim Aid helped to distribute eighty sleeping bags with thermal socks and scarves.
Members of the charity also visited the Corner Stone day centre where volunteers assist vulnerable and disadvantaged adults
Adnan Iqbal from the charity said, "Winter is a terrifying time for millions of vulnerable people.
"We as a charity are trying to bring communities together to tackle this ongoing growing problem and help those in need."
The group earlier visited the Corner Stone Day Centre which provides services to vulnerable and disadvantaged adults, across Manchester.
The group handed over 80 winter warm packs to the centre volunteers who then distributed it to the users.
