A mosque held a special iftar to celebrate the work of the emergency services.
Preston based Quwwatul Islam Mosque invited members of the Police, Fire Service and Ambulance Service to the mosque as worshippers opened their fast.
During Ramadan a number of mosques across the UK have opened their doors to the wider community to host evening events.
