A female couple from New York have shared images from a photoshoot depicting their love for each other.

Sundas Malik who is a Muslim from Pakistan and Anjali Chakra, a Hindu originally from India, released pictures from a photoshoot on Twitter.

The photos, taken by photographer @Sarowarrrr, were shared with the caption, "A New York Love Story."

The women wore traditional clothes for the photoshoot.

Sundas, who posted the pictures on Instagram, wrote, "I’m usually the kurta to her lehenga, so coming up with family-ready femme wedding outfits was more than a little stressful for me."
