The parents of an 11-year-old girl who went missing after getting a train from Manchester to London have made an urgent appeal for her to come home.
Asheem and Misra Kadir are pleading with their missing daughter, Fatuma, to "please come home" after she was last seen at London Bridge Tube Station around 11.15am yesterday morning.
They said: "We miss you, we want you to come home. We want to at least know you're safe. You're not in any trouble. Please contact us or the police.
"If anyone knows where she is or have seen her, please get in touch with the police.
"We are in a state of shock. We want to know where she is, who she's with, but most of all, that she's safe.
"Fatuma, Please come home."
Fatuma was at home on the night of July 22 (Thursday) at 7.30pm, but left home without the knowledge of her parents and travelled to Bolton Train Station at about 8.20pm.
There she came into contact with an unknown man and woman who police believe were worried about her, according to police.
They travelled on the same train as her to Manchester Piccadilly and then on again from Manchester Piccadilly to Birmingham New Street.
At this time, Fatuma got off at Birmingham New street, and boarded the 11:10pm train to London Euston, arriving alone at 1:13am on July 23.
Fatuma left London Euston train station at 1.17am yesterday and is described as an Asian female, about 5ft 2, and of slim build. She was last seen wearing a black Hijab with a blue headscarf and black dress.
Fatuma headed onto Eversholt Street towards Euston Road. From there, police believe she was at London Bridge Tube Station at 11:16am this morning, and it may be likely that she is in the London area, possibly around Tower Bridge.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Rollinson said: "We would like to trace the unknown male and female as they may know where she was going afterwards.
"We are understandably extremely concerned about the welfare of this young girl, as it would seem her going missing is extremely out of character.
"We've been working with colleagues from British Transport Police (BTP) and Metropolitan Police, as we know she had a great interest in London. We are also releasing more pictures, and want to ask for the public's help to find her.
"Have you seen Fatuma? Do you know where she is now? Or Do you have any information which will help us find her?"
