A fashion event as part in International Women's Day celebrations took place at Madhu's of Mayfair.
The Fashion Brunch founded by Anisha Vasani of Anisha Vasani Creates and Poonam Ball, Creative chef of Madhu’s hosted the event at The Dilly Hotel, Picadilly London.
The luxury fashion show by the Asian Wedding Association (AWA) featured Nikaza Asian Couture, Raishma Couture, Kyles Collection, Goenka Jewels and Ambreen Hair and makeup.
It was presented by broadcaster Anila Dhami and was attended by Tasha Tah, Gurinder Chadha, OBE and wedding industry specialists.
Fashion Brunch Creative Director Anisha Vasani said: ‘I was overwhelmed with the success of the return of the Fashion Brunch, showcasing couture fashion brands on our fabulous Catwalk, fine food by Madhu’s and a chance to celebrate women.
"I wanted to create a platform to celebrate both aspiring and established leading suppliers of the Asian wedding industry and to create a social networking event to inspire and empower the 155 incredibly iconic women all under one roof, marking history- It was an exceptional moment!’
Tasha Tah said: "It was an inspiring and motivational event. It was wonderful to see so many beautiful and talented strong women coming together to support one another on International Women’s Day. We need to celebrate more events like this."

Ambreen Ahmed, Ambreen Hair and Makeup: "The event was a huge success and we were so proud to be a part of it as the official hair and make up team for the catwalk. The Fashion Brunch has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. It was amazing to celebrate all the super women from our industry at a memorable event."
Nisha Dadi, Kyles Collection added: "It was a beautiful event that brought so many women together after the difficult two years in the pandemic. I was very overwhelmed that I had touched so many women along my journey and was touched by the tributes."
The AWA Fashion Brunch supported 'Well on Wheel's', a Water Wheel Charity Project offering Water Wheels to ease the burden of women walking 1-2 miles a day carrying water on their heads.
