Organisers are gearing up to host the biggest Diwali celebration in the borough.
The Diwali event will take place on Saturday, November 16, at the Grand Venue in Harrison Street, Blackburn.
The celebration which marks the Hindu festival of lights attracts guests from across Lancashire.
The event is being organised through a partnership between the Blackburn Hindu Centre and Saffron Group.
People of all faiths, backgrounds and diversities are being invited come together to celebrate ‘an evening of fun and laughter’.
Ram Gupta said ‘The festival of light is a symbol of all things that unite us. The celebration on the 16th brings all communities, diversities and faiths together to laugh and smile together.
"If you haven’t been then we urge you to attend and feel the warmth of a room full of warmth and celebration.”
Headline sponsor this year will be JP Morgan.

The event includes a spectacular firework display; the lighting of the DIYA ceremony; dance performances and a five-course meal.
