A family have said their focus is on looking after a young girl after her mother was killed in a crash.
Himabindu Yadla, 37, leaves behind an eight-year-old daughter after she died in hospital on November 11 following the crash on October 24.
Himabindu's brother, Hemanth Yadla, said the family was "heartbroken" over his sister's death and they will ensure her daughter is taken care of.
He said: "We fully support the police investigation to find out what happened.
"We are so heartbroken that she is no longer with us and our lives have been changed forever.
"My sister leaves an eight-year-old daughter behind and we are all focussed on making sure she is taken care of."
Police were called to Tramway Lane in Bamber Bridge at around 6.35pm on October 24 to reports of a crash between an Audi A3 and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, Himabindu, was taken to hospital but died almost three weeks later.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
He has been released under investigation.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and footage of the crash as they investigate the circumstances.
