A clip from an election hustings in marginal seat Ilford North is being circulated widely.

It features parliamentary candiadate Lee Scott who is asked about his membership of the Conservative Friends of Israel and his pro-Israeli stance.

Various websites are urging Muslim voters in the constituency to study the reply.

Scott replies to a question from the audience and says,“Israel is the finest democracy in the Middle East, indeed it is the only democracy.

“I pray for peace for both sides in the ME and hope that there will be a two state solution but there must be an end to terrorism against innocent Israelis by terrorist organizations.

“I will never bow my head on that, I will never curtail my opinion on that no matter what is done to try and divide our community."
