Honesty is the key to life I am told and being honest I wasn't expecting much of this place.
Yes it had a jazzy exterior and modern interior but the food needed to hit the right note.
Instead of just one dish I ordered three of the best.
A Chicken Karahi with naan, a 12 inch Asian style pizza and a mixed grill.
Being a Saturday night the place was relatively busy and my food arrrived in due time.
The chicken Karahi dish proved to be the best of the lot. It wasn't too spicy and even I was impressed by the mquality of meat in the dish. It's not often you end up wanting more of the same and in this mcase I can safely say I was impressed.
I was told the 12 Inch pizza is popular with the locals and mhaving tasted I could see why.
The toppings were fresh but the base seemed a tad too thick for my liking.
The mixed grill was made up of donner, lamb and chicken and came in a generous portion.
The kebabs were average I suppose but maybe I was still wanting more of that Karahi dish.
The kind-hearted gentlemen mbehind the counter seemed jovial enough for a busy Saturday night and maybe they could do with a couple more hands on the deck to deal with all the customers. I'm a stickler for Customer service you see.
But as long as the food arrives who's to say these boys ain't doing a great job.
