POLICE in Preston have issued CCTV stills of two men they want to identify after a series of burglaries in which Asian jewellery has been targeted.
There have been up to twenty offences within the Preston area since April 2011 and police believe they could be linked.
In each occasion the offenders enter through force entry through a rear door and steal cash or jewellery, leaving behind expensive electrical goods.
The CCTV images relate to four separate offences, the first of which took place at an address on St Thomas Road in Deepdale between 11:30am and 1pm on Thursday, August 25.
The offenders have searched all the cupboards and drawers in the upstairs bedrooms before leaving premises without stealing any property.
A further incident took place between 11am and 11.20am on Saturday, August 27 at an address on Holstein Street when occupants have been home.
The offenders have stolen £230 in cash before running away from the house in the direction of East Street.
The next burglary was on Tuesday, August 30 between 1.15pm and 3.30pm on St George's Road when the offenders made an untidy search of a house ignoring several expensive items before being disturbed by victim's returning home and running out of back door empty-handed.
The most recent offence took place between 2.30pm and 4.15pm on the same day, between 2.30pm and 4.15pm on nearby St Thomas Road.
The offenders escaped with over £200 cash, four gold bangles, a pair of earrings, a necklace, ring and watch, valued at around £4,000.
The earrings are described as gold with three droplets on each jewel.
The necklace has a gold chain with small balls and a gold oval pendant jewel.
