A well-known drinks brand is to open in Blackburn in a highly sought after location.
CUPP Bubble Tea which has branches in London, Manchester, Leicester, Brighton and Bristol are set to launch on Victoria Street, just off Barbara Castle Way.
The store will take up the spot between the Kiddies Store and the Shandaar Takeaway.
The opening will be a big boost for the shopping district as it continues to attract national brands to select locations across the town.
Bubble Tea is made up of loose leaf tea, fresh fruit and fresh milk and is said to have originated in Taiwan.
CUPP launched in Bristol in 2012 and began life in a converted Citroen H van before launching in high streets across the country. The brand still serves festivals goers at Glastonbury and other major festivals.
According to the website there are now 18 stores across the country with more opening in 2023. One of its most recent openings was in in Penny Street in Lancaster.
The CUPP menu features a range of Milk Teas and Fruit Teas made with organic milk. The company said it uses brown sugar syrup instead of using artificial fructose.

The new Blackburn store location is well known throughout the town and has seen a number of small businesses take residency there over the past two decades.
However, it is best known for being the location of the old Asian video shop – Galavisions.
As work began some months the image of the famous Galavisions sign that had been hidden away for many years was revealed.
