A Stockport IT company has secured a much sought after web address for a leading restaurant chain.
Cleartwo, a Microsoft Gold Partner, secured the domain name Archies.com for Manchester-based Archies.
Archies was founded in 2010, and currently operates across the UK with plans to go international.
After negotiations by Cleartwo Ltd who help to manage the website, the official Archies website is now back at Archies.com. The deal was said to have cost upwards of £80,000.
The .com domain was believed to be a key component for international expansion for Archies.
Director Satnam Singh said: “Cleartwo’s partnership with Archies has become critical for the growth of their brand, and we’re happy to be part of their rise into a worldwide success.”
“After the domain purchase was finalised we migrated all their emails and websites from their old domain name, without losing any data, and we’re sure the added domain authority will be a great benefit for Archies in the future.”
Cleartwo recently moved new offices into Stockport city centre.
Satnam said: “The new premises will help us continue our expansion plans and give us the room we need for our growing team.”
Cleartwo was founded by Omer Riaz and Satnam in 2010 with just two staff. Since then, Cleartwo has moved from Satnam's brother's basement to a small office in Shaw Heath and now occupies the historic 18th century Mission building near Stockport Town Hall with over 30 staff.
Satnam added: “This doesn’t change our company ethos, and we still pride ourselves on offering a vast range of IT services, from design, branding, marketing and business IT solutions.”
