A new bubble tea cafe has had its grand opening in Blackburn.
The new café is located next to the Shad House Curry takeaway and restaurant in Wensley Road.
The property has been extensively renovated both inside and out and is being run separately from the Shad House.
Mo Cha is set to offer bubble tea as well as a range of cold drinks to customers.
The simplistic yet modern concept is the brainchild of Rizwan Rahman, 23, and brother Salman, 26.
The young entrepreneurs took on the challenge of renovating the property themselves and over a six-month period have transformed it into a quaint and modern tea shop.
Rizwan said: “It was something we wanted to do and it was not easy from the start.
“There are a lot of things and issues you are faced but you learn as you go along.
“We wanted to do the work ourselves and were involved in all aspects of the work from the plastering to the painting.
“Anyone who has started such a venture will know it requires a great deal of dedication and commitment but we are really happy with the finished product.
“I think we have a great little location as there is nothing else like this around here.”

The brothers also came up with their own concept and have launched their own signature flavours. That includes the ‘Vanilla Brown Sugar with a coffee shot’.
Rizwan added: “We have some exclusive flavours and are experimenting with new ones as we go along.
“Presently, we are doing ice tea and bubble tea but will be expanding the menu.”
Mo Cha offered the first 50 customers 50 per cent off all orders on Wednesday (July 5) and local residents were keen to take up the offer.
The Shad House next door is one of the oldest curry houses in the area and has been serving the people of Blackburn for over two decades.
