The MyLahore team at the Stanley House Hotel has announced the dates for its annual ‘Iftar dinner’ events this Ramadan.
The buffets will take place in the MyLahore Glass Marquee at the Blackburn venue on selected dates on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays for the coming three weeks.
The first Iftar dinner will take place on Friday, March 15.
The Iftar is the time when the Muslims break their daily fasts during the month of Ramadan and this year mealtime is 6.20pm onwards, extending as daylight hours get longer.
Guests can arrive any time after 5pm at the venue to take their seats and socialise with fellow diners.
A MyLahore spokesperson said: “Each evening we’ll be serving up a wide range of dishes buffet style, including desi starters, mains and desserts, live stations, and children’s dishes. Many of the items on offer are not available in our restaurants.
“Tickets include selected soft drinks and desi tea. There is free on-site parking is as well as prayer and ablution facilities.
“Walk-ins are subject to availability. 20 per cent of profits from the Iftar dinners go to our charity partner One Nation’s Gaza Emergency Appeal.”
