One of Manchester’s most famous Asian restaurants and wedding venues has had a makeover.
DJs joined special guests at the launch event to unveil the new My Nawaab. It came during a weekend when the team also hosted hundreds of guests at two weddings.
The banqueting halls have benefitted from extensive redecoration and refurnishing.
Established in 2002, the restaurant was one of the first in the region to offer buffet meals which are still popular with diners from across the North West.
Guests are able to choose between an a la carte menu or the restaurant’s buffet selection. The banqueting hall has a capacity for up to 500 guests for weddings and events.
Usman Malik, has been part of the restaurant’s journey since he was 16.
Usman said: “We’re incredibly excited to mark the start of our new chapter as My Nawaab – something that’s been in the works for quite some time.
"Our front of house team and set of expert chefs aren’t going anywhere, neither are the classic curry dishes loved by all. So, our guests can expect the same fantastic quality of experience as they’ve become used to but with fresh innovation."
Usman added: "Our rebrand launch event marks the start of a series of celebrations we have planned over the coming months, so we encourage the community to keep their eyes peeled for events, surprises and menu updates.
“This venue has been part of my family life for many years, and I am so proud to be taking the helm at this very special time.”
