Free buses are being laid out for protestors demonstrating at a defence contractors.
Organisers from the Lancashire Peace Forum (LPF) said they are planning a ‘Palestine Funeral Procession’ outside BAE Systems, Samlesbury today (June 4) between 2.30pm and 4pm. Protestors will carry coffins to signify the number of children killed in the bombings.
The aim they say is to highlight how UK firms are supplying weapons to be used by Israel against Palestinians.
It follows a demonstration outside the site last week.
Buses will leave from Randal Street, Whalley Range, Whalley OId Road and Randal Street. Jummah (Friday) Prayers will take place at 1.30 outside the site.
In response to the demonstrations a BAE Systems spokesperson said: "BAE Systems is a key partner to Lockheed Martin, the prime contractor on the global F-35 programme.
"Our activities are subject to compliance with international trade control requirements, including US and UK trade control regulations, and our own responsible business trading principles.”
