A film festival showcasing Palestinian films will take place in Manchester.
Inspired by the London Palestinian Film Festive, the MCR Palestine Film Festival presents films that explore 'Palestinian culture, heritage, and resilience'.
The festival is made up of three compelling films 'The Teacher', 'Gaza Fights for Freedom' and '200 Meters', offering unique perspectives and storytelling from acclaimed filmmakers.
The screenings will takes place at the The Savoy Cinema, Heaton Moor on Friday May 10, Saturday May 18 and Friday May 31.
The films will be accompanied by Q&A sessions with the directors, providing audiences with deeper insights into the themes and creative processes behind the films.
The festival said it was proud to promote 'global appreciation of Palestinian filmmakers and their stories, fostering cross-cultural understanding and supporting diverse voices within the film industry'.
