Clubs are gearing up for this year’s North West Football championships.
The annual tournament will place on the first Bank holiday weekend of May with group matches to be played at the home of Nelson FC – Victoria Park.
Holders Bolton United will join finalists from 2013 Coppice United of Oldham in the draw which takes place in April.
Semi-finals will take place on May 7 and May 8. The venue for the final will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The tournament was first held in 2002 and attracts supporters and interest from across the region.
A series of play-offs will decide which teams will make it to the final eight who compete in the tournament.
Games are free to watch and clubs are again encouraged as always to bring supporters with them.
