Thousands were raised for charity at an annual 8-a-side football tournament in Blackburn.
The Aid 4 Ummah football cup at Witton Park 3g pitches attracted teams from across the North West.
Organisers said £8795.10 was raised following the tournament and thanked all the players and fans for their donations.
Operations Manager, Ahmed Yusuf said: “Aid 4 Ummah would like to thank all players and teams for entering our tournament.
“The tournament proved to be a huge success as it was last year - our aim is to keep the high standard for future tournaments.
“We would like to place on record a huge thank you to all volunteers for their hard work.
“We’ve received brilliant feedback and it’s nice to hear the kind words from the participants.
“The money raised will go towards the running of the Education Centre used by orphans in Sierra Leone.
“We’re already looking forward to next year!”
Two tournament cups were up for grabs with teams finishing top going into a Champions League knockout and the remaining sides going into the Europa League.
Both finals went to penalties.
Bolton's Pukka Juice who were said to have been put together within days of the tournament, managed to haul themselves to the final through a series of penalty shoot out wins.
In the final they got themselves back on level terms and took the game to penalties again and had keeper Abid to thank.
In the Champions League format Sat4pm Sporties and Barely Athletic were two surprise finalists.
Sporties looked stronger in the game in itself but failed to make their possession count. They were lucky not to concede midway through the final and finished the day by not having conceded a goal.
This final went to penalties again and it was Sporties (below) who who held their nerve to win the cup.
The roll of honour was as follows:
Champions League GK of tournament - Mohammed Patel (Barely Athletic)
Champions League Player of tournament - Muhammad Yaqoob Butt - (Sat4pm Sporties)
Champions League winners – Sat4pm Sporties
Champions League Runners Up - Barely Athletic
Europa GK of tournament - Nayim Vaid (Aftab Projects)
Europa League Player of tournament - Abid Musa (Pukka Juice)
Europa League Winners - Pukka Juice
Europa League Runners Up - Undecided FC
