Boxer Daniel Dubois has spoken about Joshua, Usyk and calling out Jake Paul in wide-ranging interview on a podcast.
He was speaking on the Bricks to Riches Podcast hosted by Manchester based property entrepreneur Nabeel Mussarat.
The podcast sees Nabeel speak to celebrities and sports stars about their lives and how they aim to inspire others.
World champion, Dubois reflected on his incredible journey, including his epic victory over Anthony Joshua in front of 90,000 fans, his views on influencer boxing, and a potential showdown with Jake Paul.
Speaking about his historic fight against Joshua, Dubois said: “I truly believe that was a punch from the gods.
“It made me deliver that shot at the moment. Before I may have lost focus and panic. I didn’t panic. I just stayed calm and saw everything.”
Dubois, Christian also spoke of his beliefs, “My dad used to pray a lot when we were younger.”
He added: I love to see the joy around me. That is what victory does. It is like a great healer winning.
“It heals me from all the work in the training camp. All the suffering. It was worth it.”
When asked about the Usyk fight last August, during which a punch by Dubois was controversially ruled a ‘low blow’. He went to lose the bought.
Dubois said he felt ‘devastated’.
“They robbed me of the victory. He never grabbed his balls after I hit him. It was a clearly a real shot and you know we can get it back.
“I am the world champion now and he has the other belts. So, let’s fight. Let’s get it on.”
He went on to say, “I think I have learned from my own experiences and making my own mistakes.
“Coming up and going down and getting back up again. So it is life lessons.
“Boxers can have that train wreck lifestyle if you are not careful because you are in the fast lane and in the media.”
Dubois was also asked about reports Jake Paul who had hinted he's ready for a showdown after his win againstPaul shared a message from Dubois which read: "Hi Jake. Good business on the weekend but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world? This is Daniel Dubois calling you out. Let's get it on."
The boxer revealed: “We messaged him and decided lets call him out.
“Even though it is publicity you never know what can happen in this sport. It is strange times.
“He said hew was going to speak to Frank Warren.”
